By Road
St. Andrews is 50 miles north of Edinburgh via the Forth Bridge to junction 2a on M90, then A92 through Glenrothes, A914 to Cupar and A91 to St. Andrews. It is 15 miles south of Dundee
via the Tay Bridge, A92, A914 and A91. Glasgow is 75 miles away via either M8 to the Forth Bridge or by M80 and M876 to the Kincardine Bridge and then by A977, M90 and A91.
By Rail
Leuchars railway station is on the east coast main line with connections throughout Britain and a night sleeper service to London. The station is 4 miles from St. Andrews from which there is an
excellent taxi service and a frequent local bus service.
By Air
Edinburgh is the nearest major airport to St. Andrews and is one hour's drive away. Glasgow airport has direct flights to the United States and Canada and is one and a half hour's drive away.
