We have conference meeting rooms throughout St Andrews. Some are in the science buildings on the North Haugh (pronounced haw as in hawthorn), near to New Hall. Others are in the centre of the town around the United College on North Street or St Mary’s College on South Street. We can advise on the best choice to meet your needs.
We provide water and glasses for speakers in all our conference rooms.

Our largest venue, The Younger Hall, seats nearly one thousand people and three other lecture theatres seat between three and four hundred. We have ten venues seating around one hundred delegates.

We have around fifty smaller seminar rooms seating between ten and fifty people. About half of them are conveniently located in the same buildings as the large venues. The others are individually situated in smaller buildings and are used less often for conferences.

In most of our conference buildings we have space for delegates to gather close to their meeting rooms. We can provide refreshments here to avoid walking to and from our residential accommodation.

We provide the following equipment within our 24 hour delegate rate at no extra charge; OHP, 35mm slide projector, screen, VHS video and monitor, one data projector, public address and flipchart. We can supply, or hire in, more complex equipment for an additional charge.
Our conference rates also include setting up the equipment requested by an organiser and advising on its use. Conferences may then operate the equipment and technical assistance is readily to hand if there are difficulties. There are extra charges for conferences requiring the full time presence of our technical staff.
We are pleased to work with audio-visual companies to whom an organiser may wish to contract their requirements.
